How do I chat with someone?

To chat with someone in the Fedi app, go to "Chat" > Blue + Sign. From there, you can either scan their QR code, enter their username, or paste their Fedi member code. That's it! Send your message and start chatting.

Once you have initiated a chat with someone on Fedi, you can use the icons below the text box to send & request eCash payments, share photos & videos, and send other file types.

Note that you can also start a chat with a member of a chat group you belong to by tapping on their avatar in the conversation feed or their name in the member list and selecting "Go to direct chat."
