How do I make a payment from the Community screen?

To send funds from the Community screen, tap "Send" on your main wallet balance. From there, you can either scan an QR code, enter a username, or paste a Lightning address / bitcoin wallet address.

If sending on-chain or paying by username, you will need to enter the amount to be sent denominated in sats or fiat. If paying a Lightning invoice, the invoice amount should populate onto the payment screen automatically.

Next, select the federation wallet you would like to pay from and review the details & fees. Once you've confirmed all of the information, tap "Send" to complete your payment.

If paying by username (sending eCash), the recipient will have to open their Fedi app while connected to the internet to receive the funds. If the recipient does not come online within 7 days, the sats will be refunded to your balance.
