How do I make a payment from the Community screen?

To send funds from the Community screen, ensure you have a balance in your selected federation wallet and tap "Send." From there, you can either scan a QR code, enter a username, or paste a Lightning invoice address.

If paying a Lightning invoice, the relevant number of sats should populate onto the payment screen. Once you confirm the amount, hit "Send," and that's it!

If paying by username, select the federation you'd like to pay from at the top of the payment screen. Next, enter the amount you'd like to send denominated either in sats or fiat, and tap "Send." On the following screen, tap "Send" again to confirm the chat payment.

The recipient will have to open their Fedi app while connected to the internet to receive the funds. If the recipient does not come online within 7 days, the sats will be refunded to your balance.
