How do I send funds offline?

When you send funds from the Community screen, you will see the option to "Send offline." When you select this option, you will be prompted to enter the amount you'd like to send denominated in either sats or fiat, and then hit "Next."

Once you review the details and tap "Send" on the next screen, you will see a pop-up that explains the number of sats to be sent will be removed from your wallet on the next step when the QR code is presented.

If you are ok with this, tap "Continue." A QR code will be shown, which the receiver can scan with their phone to claim the sats.

Once the receiver has scanned the QR code, tap and hold "I have sent payment" for a few seconds. You will then see the payment success screen. Once you tap "Done," you will notice the sats have been removed from your balance.

When the recipient connects to the internet, the funds they claimed while offline will be credited to their balance and be able to be spent. If the recipient does not come online within 7 days, the sats will be refunded to your balance.
