How can I vet the guardians of the federations I join?

Federations can be public or private, with known or anonymous guardians. Because guardian identities are not always known, it is not always possible to vet the guardians of every federation.

It is therefore paramount that you join and use federations in direct proportion to your level of trust in them.

Of course, the way you determine your level of trust is up to you - whether by brand recognition, community involvement, personal relationships with guardians, or something else.
