What are the different Fedimint deployment options?

To simplify the process of setting up and running a federation, Fedi has partnered with Clovyr, a one-click deployment platform for launching and managing your own applications privately and securely. Clovyr also allows you to bring your own host (Linode, DigitalOcean, AWS) if you'd like.

That said, Fedimint is an open-source project with a number of deployment options in addition to Clovyr, including Docker, NixOS, running the binaries directly, and more.

A federation's Fedimint servers can also be hosted using a combination of your own hardware and a cloud hosting provider if desired.
