How is the bitcoin price determined for the Stable Balance feature?

Stable Balance uses the median of the same 3 price feeds across all federations to determine bitcoin's price. These price feeds, or oracles, are cex.io, yadio.io, and bitstamp.net.

Having 3 oracles provides sufficient redundancy and robustness; the system can continue operating as long as at least one oracle is live and reachable.
