Are there any fees associated with Stable Balance?

As of August 6th, 2024, a flat fee of 21 basis points (0.21%) is charged on deposits to Stable Balance, but there are no fees on withdrawals from Stable Balance.

Separately, while there are currently no deposit or withdrawal fees charged by any of the federations on the Fedi platform, there is a yearly fee charged by the stability provider.

The amount shown for this fee is the maximum amount you could pay to hold your balance for a year, though it may be less depending on the provider. Current fees are always displayed clearly in the app.
