What is Multispend?

Multispend is a tool that allows Fedians to pool funds together and spend from the shared pool of funds, which is where the feature gets its name. Multispend groups are created from private chat groups, and all participants must belong to the same Multispend-compatible federation used for the group.

Voting members must approve the creation of a Multispend group, and once the group is formed, all participants can deposit funds into it. Participants can then request specific amounts from the group to be used for certain expenses, which a pre-defined threshold of voting members must approve.
