What is a wallet-free community?

As the name implies, a wallet-free community is a community hosted on Fedi that includes default chats and Fedi mods, but does not include the ability to send, receive, or store funds.

You can join existing wallet-free communities on Fedi or set up your own. In addition to default chat groups and Fedi mods, you can also add a pinned message to the Community screen.

You can see Community Details for all communities (federations and wallet-free communities) on the Account screen, which is accessible by tapping your profile picture at the top right.
