Stable Balance uses the median of the same three price feeds across all federations to determine bitcoin's price. These price feeds, or oracles, are cex.io, yadio.io, and bitstamp.net.
Having multiple price oracles provides sufficient redundancy and robustness; the system can continue operating as long as at least one oracle is live and reachable.
