To deposit funds into your Stable Balance, navigate to the Wallet tab, select the relevant Wallet Service you'd like to deposit to & toggle from Bitcoin to USD (or other display currency). Next, tap on ↓ Receive to bring up the Receive USD screen. If Stable Balance transfers are supported, you will see a horizontal bar at the top. Choose the From my BTC wallet option.
Next, enter the amount you want to deposit denominated in fiat (the amount available to deposit is shown at the top) and tap Next.
Review the details & fees on the next screen, and once satisfied, tap Deposit to proceed. The final screen just lets you know that deposits can take up to 10 minutes to be completed; tap Okay. You can view and track the pending deposit from your transaction history.

Does this feature require activation? I am not able to locate the deposit button on my home screen associated with my federation.
Stable Balance is currently only enabled for specific federations. For now, the best place to try it out is on Fedi Testnet, a federation that uses Mutinynet sats. You can join Fedi Testnet by going to the menu at the top right of the Community tab > Add community > View public communities > Join Fedi Testnet.
