What is my Fedi chat profile?

As soon as you download Fedi, a chat profile is automatically created for you with a unique Fedi chat link, unique 4-character string, and non-unique randomly generated display name.

You can view your chat profile on the Settings page by tapping the Profile icon at the top right of any tab, but note that only your display name can be changed; the link & string cannot.

Share your profile with friends to help them start chatting with you on Fedi by sending them your chat link or having them scan your QR code with their Fedi omni-scanner.
