How do I move funds across Wallet Services?

Moving funds from one Wallet Service to another simply involves paying yourself from one federation wallet to another federation wallet in the same way you would pay anyone else. The simplest way to do this is via Lightning since you cannot send a chat payment to yourself.

From the Wallet tab, choose the Wallet Service where you'd like to receive it, then tap ↓ Receive on your Bitcoin balance and toggle to LNURL. You will then see a LNURL QR code. Tap Copy and then back at the top left.

Next, tap the Scan/Paste button and Paste the LNURL. Tap Continue. On the next screen, select the federation wallet you'd like to pay from using the drop-down menu at the top, add the amount and a note if you want. Once you've reviewed the details of the transaction, tap Send.

Note that if the payment does fail due to insufficient funds, the resulting error shows the true maximum number of sats you can send net of fees. Repeat the process using this number to ensure the payment is successful and zero-out your balance in the wallet you're moving funds from.

Alternatively, if the Wallet Service where you'd like to receive does not support receiving via LNURL, you still can receive the funds via a Lightning invoice. Just select the federation wallet, tap ↓ Receive, toggle to Lightning, and enter the amount you'd like to receive denominated in sats or fiat.

To transfer your entire balance if opting for the Lightning invoice route, you should instead first navigate to the Wallet Service you'd like to send from > tap ↑ Send on your Bitcoin balance > select Ecash/Offline > enter your exact current balance in sats. 

The actual maximum amount you can send when accounting for fees will be shown in red. This is the amount you should enter when creating the Lightning invoice from the federation wallet you want to receive to.

Next, you can add a note to the transaction if you'd like. Once you're done, tap Request X SATS. You will then see a Lightning invoice QR code. Tap Copy and then tap back at the top left.

Next, press the Scan/Paste button and Paste the Lightning invoice. Then tap Continue. On the next screen, select the Wallet Service you'd like to pay from using the drop-down menu at the top. Once you've reviewed the details of the transaction, tap Send. As you are using a Lightning invoice instead of a LNURL, the sats/fiat amount will be auto-populated.
