How do I mention someone in a chat group?

To mention someone in a public or private chat group, simply type "@" and then begin typing their display name. Once they appear in the list, verify they are the person you intend to tag by ensuring their 4-character alpha-numerical code is correct, and then tap their name.

You can also mention everyone in the group by typing "@room." Note that mentioning someone ensures that person receives a message notification. Tapping on a mentioned person's username from a message brings up a menu of options that varies based on your role within the group. 

From this menu, group members can navigate to a direct chat with or block the mentioned person, while group admins will see moderation tools in the menu, such as the ability to change a person's role or remove or ban them from the group.
