How do I set up and use Fedi?

Getting started on Fedi is easy. Simply download the Fedi mobile app from either the App Store (iOS) or the Google Play Store (Android). Alternatively, you can also download the APK.

Open the app and follow the prompts to create your account; set your display name & avatar photo; and enable notifications. Once done, tap "Continue to Fedi" and that's it - you're in!

Start exploring the app via the tabs at the bottom of the screen. Join a federation on the Community tab and fund your wallet with bitcoin via Lightning to receive eCash.

Test out each community's mods and add your own in the Mods tab. Check out your communities' announcements channels and start talking with your friends in the Chat tab.

You can also join Fedi Testnet and use the Faucet mod to receive signet sats (no monetary value), which are helpful to experiment with the multitude of features the Fedi app has to offer.
