Where can I find public federations to join?

You can see public federations available to join in the app by tapping the menu at the top left of the Community screen > Add community > View public communities.

Bitcoinmints.com is another resource that lists publicly known Fedimint federations and Cashu mints. You can filter by mint type and select "Fedimint" to see the federations that are publicly known and available to be joined by the invitation code displayed in the "URL" column.

Note that in both cases, Fedi does not endorse any of the mints listed on either the Awesome Fedimint list or on the Bitcoinmints site, and we are not affiliated with Bitcoinmints in any way.

You join federations entirely at your own risk, so we recommend you trust the guardians of the mints you choose to join. Of course, how you determine your level of trust in a mint or its guardians is up to you.
