What is the best way to fund my Fedi account?

Given that Fedimint federations only support holding bitcoin and that Fedi itself does not custody any user funds, you need to fund your Fedi account by transferring bitcoin in from an external source via either an on-chain or Lightning network deposit directly to your chosen federation wallet.

If you do not currently hold any bitcoin, the best way to fund your Fedi account is to convert your fiat / stablecoins / other digital assets to bitcoin using an exchange or Fedi mod available in your local jurisdiction and then transferring the bitcoin into your federation wallet.

See the Cash In & Cash Out section of the Fedi Mods Catalog for a list of suggested mods to help you do just that. Just be sure that whichever mod you elect to use is supported in your jurisdiction. Alternatively, you can a service you already use to the Mods tab of your Fedi app.
